بيان تأسيسي لمنظمة الوحدة السريانية في أمريكا

((بيان تأسيسي))

بتاريخ الأحد المصادف في 17/04/2011 السابع عشر من شهر نيسان ألفان و أحدى عشر و في فندق هولي دي الواقع في ولاية نيوجرسي الأمريكية أجتمعنا نحن المذكورين أدناه :

الدكتور سامي سمعاني
السيد موريس مراد
السيد مايك ميخائيل
المحامي نوري إيشوع
المهندس يعقوب هارون

بعد الصلاة الربانية و بعد المداولة و المناقشة فيما بيننا أتفقنا نحن المجتمعون ( المؤسسون) و بالأجماع على تأسيس منظمة
تحت أسم منظمة الوحدة السريانية
(Syriac Unity Organization)
و قد أنضم الى عضوية المنظمة كل من السادة :
1- بنيامين ملكي
2- أفريم يشوع
3- بسيم دولي

من أهدافها :

1- منظمة سريانية ديمقراطية إصلاحية تهدف إلى جمع السريان, أفراد و جماعات و منظمات و اتحادات تحت خيمة سريانية واحدة في العالم.
2- منظمة ليس لها إي صبغة سياسية أو عقائدية ، وليس لها إي علاقات أو أرتباطات بأي حزب أو منظمة آخرى، انها ترنو الى رآب الصدع و جمع السريان متحدين. .
2- المحافظة على التراث السرياني, من خلال ترسيخ عادات و تقاليد أجدادنا و الحفاظ على لغتنا المقدسة من خلال تكريسها و تعليمها بالتشجيع على فتح المدارس في الأبرشيات, و بث روح المحبة و التفاهم بين ابناء شعبنا (أكليروس و مؤمنين).
3- الدفاع عن أخواتنا و أخوتنا في الوطن لما يتعرضون له من قتل و تشريد و اضطهاد و ذلك أمام المنظمات الحقوقية و القانونية الدولية و المحلية و من خلال منظمات هيئة الأمام المتحدة و ذلك بكل الوسائل السلمية المشروعة و مد يد العون و المساعدة لكل أخواتنا و أخوتنا في المهجر, و فتح قنوات أتصال مع كل الشرفاء في العالم أفراداً و دول على أختلاف عقائدهم لمناصرة الشعب السرياني و المحافظة على تاريخه الذي يعتبر إرثاً حضارياً للعالم أجمع.
4- العمل مع قيادتنا الروحية و على مختلف مستوياتها و مع المنظمات السريانية الشقيقة في العالم لمعالجة قضايانا المصيرية التي هزت و لا زالت تدك أركان كنيستنا و أمتنا السريانية و ايجاد الحلول المناسبة لها بحيث يصب عملنا جميعاً في مصلحة وحدتنا الشاملة.
و من ثم تم تسمية السادة :
الدكتور سامي السمعاني رئيساً للمنظمة

و المحامي نوري إيشوع أميناً للأعلام (الناطق الأعلامي باسم المنظمة)

***باب المنظمة مفتوح لكل السريان في العالم لمن يجدون أنفسهم قادرين على العطاء و التضحية من أجل خدمة الشعب السرياني المبارك.

وضعنا الرب نصب أعيننا ليأخذ بإيدينا جميعاً لتحقيق أهدافنا النبيلة.
عاشت أمتنا السريانية موحدة

(Declaration of Establishment)

On Sunday, the seventeenth of April two thousand and eleven in the Holiday Inn conference room in the state of New Jersey-USA, the following people gathered:

Dr. Elias Hanna
Dr. Jan Arnett
Mr. George Shammas
Mr. Abboud Adamo
Dr. Sami Samani
Mr. Maurice Mrad
Mr. Mike Mikhaiel
Mr. Nouri Eichou, Esquire
Mr. Yacub Harun, Engineer

After the Lord's Prayer, and after the deliberation and discussion among ourselves we, as the gathered founders, unanimously approved the establishment of the Organization under the name of the Syriac Unity Organization (S.U.O.).

The people listed below were not able to attend our meeting, but are also founding members:

Mr. Benjamin Malki
Mr. Ephraim Yashou
Mr. Bassim Dawli


Our objectives are:

1. To organize Syriac democratic reform which aims to unite Syriac people as individuals, groups, organizations and associations under the tent of one Syriac unity worldwide.

2. Our organization does not have any political or ideological nature, and does not have any relations or links to any party or any organization. Our purpose is to heal the rift and to gather the force to unite our Syriac people.

3. To preserve the Syriac Heritage through the consolidation of the customs and traditions of our fathers and to preserve our sacred language through the dedication and education by the means of encouragements to open schools in parishes, and spread the spirit of love and understanding between our people (clergy and believers).

4. To defend our brothers and sisters in their home countries as they are exposed to killings, displacements, and persecutions. This could be done through the human rights organizations, the international organizations, and the local organizations. We are using all peaceful and legitimate means to extend the aid and assistance to all our sisters and our brothers in their home countries. Furthermore, we could open channels of communication with all people in the world, individuals and nations of different beliefs to advocate for the Syriac people and preserve the history, which is a cultural legacy for all.

5. To work with the spiritual leadership at various levels and with our Syriac sister organizations in the world in order to address our crucial issues that have rocked our Syriac nation. These are still considered pounding elements of our church and our nation and to find the appropriate solutions that are agreeable to all of us and in the interest of our nation and our unity overall.

We elected the gentlemen named below as our officers to achieve this purpose:

Mr. Nuri Eichou, Esquire - Mass Media Spokesman

***Our organization welcomes all Syriac people in the world who find themselves able to contribute and sacrifice for the purpose of helping our blessed Syriac people.

We keep our Lord in mind to elevate us to achieve our noble goals.

Long live our united Syriac people.
